Kalium Mineração is a mining company that was founded in March 2010, with the attribution of use of potassic rocks (Verdetes) for the production of salts of potassium, magnesium, iron and aluminum oxide.

 

 

The Glauconita deposit of about 220 million tons is located in the municipalities of Serra da Saudade and Headquarters in Minas Gerais.

 

In the first phase, a semi-industrial, built in its own area in Rodovia MG 176, km 42, municipality of Dores do Indaiá in Minas Gerais. The ore will be transported by truck to the station for about 40 km.

 

 

The process was developed by Kalium for the treatment of the ore is innovative. After being tested and adjusted, in the second phase, a processing capacity of 600 thousand tons of ROM per year will be implemented, seeking the greater demand of the domestic market of potassium.
